Lyrics
Verse 1
I would be a ray of sunshine, Brightly beaming ev‘ry day, Shedding radiance in the darkness, driving gloomy clouds away.
Verse 2
I would make a silver lining ‘Round the darkest clouds of woe, I would shine and shine for Jesus, Ev’rywhere I chance to go.
Verse 3
I would be a ray of sunshine— Help me, Lord, that I may be! May the image of Thy Being E’er reflect itself in me.
Chorus
I would shine, shine for Jesus, Each moment of the day; I would shine, shine for Jesus, And drive the gloom away.
