Verse 1
“Be strong and courageous,” God said to Joshua, “Cross over Jordan to your promised land. Be strong and courageous, do what I tell you. No walls of Jericho will ever stand.” Joshua told his men, “Go march ‘round Jericho, One time every day for six days in a row.” On the seventh day they marched around the wall, seven times around; they heard the trumpet call. Everyone did shout, and everyone did know, God knocked down the wall, the wall of Jericho!
Verse 2
The Ark of the Cov’nant, carried by Levites, led all the nation to follow God’s way. When feet touched the River, God stopped the water. Israel crossed over on dry land that day.
