Verse 1: Unworthy, standing in hopeless despair; hearts are in pain, just wond’ring who cares. Cheer up, sad one, sing jubilation, for thru Christ is propitiation.
Verse 2: Rising up grateful with spirit renewed, joyfully singing with Heaven in view. Hearts now praise for our situation. God made way for propitiation.
Verse 3: So undeserving, but yet hope abounds, from Heav’n above, the Son was sent down. He made way for our great salvation. Christ, our King, our propitiation.
Chorus: Our sins are forgiven. His blood atones. His propitiation is our love song. All glory and honor to Him belong. Praise His great name! He forgives all wrong.
