Verse 1: Did He think of you when He bore your guilt, when He walked in pain up to calv’ry’s hill? Yet when Satan roars, and your will gives in, when you lose your fight, do you think of Him?
Verse 2: Did He think of you when His head was crowned, when they raised their King and they jeered, “Come down”? Yet when anger swells from your heart within when your vengeance mounts, do you think of Him?
Verse 3: Did He think of you when it all was done? Sin and death had tried, but our Lord had won. When you see your life, ev’rywhere you’ve been, ev’ry vict’ry won, do you think of Him?
Chorus: When your spirit faints from your heavy load, do you think of Him when you need Him most? It was on the cross He forgave your sin. Yes, He thought of you. Do you think of Him?
